S/he works under the direct supervision of the Head, SDG Integration, and collaboratively with teams across UNDP’s Regional Hubs, Policy Centers and Global Policy Network. S/he manages the development of knowledge and learning methods to ensure optimal knowledge flows and expertise exchange that drives excellence in development solutions. S/he manages the development of tools and methods to support countries achieve priorities set out in the Knowledge Management Strategy. She/he will work, in close collaboration with other advisors and specialists of Country Offices, the Regional Hub and HQ (BPPS, RBA) to reduce gender inequalities in the region, in line with the upcoming Gender Equality Strategy 2022-2025. The Data Analyst undertakes research, data collection, and analysis; supports internal coordination and knowledge management; and participates in BMS/BPC/Performance Division engagements using a client, quality, and results-oriented approach. The Data Analyst works in close collaboration with the team members in developing content and in the delivery of organizational effectiveness advisory services. Duties and Responsibilities The Programme Specialist will provide leadership in provision of advisory services to Alliance’s member countries in Asia, championing responsible digital payments, leading in establishing member relationship, advisory services, guide research and knowledge management, as well as provide overall global leadership on one or more of the following payment streams – agriculture, health, humanitarian, and wage payments.
