Accountabilities & Key Roles :
Ensure Capacity planning, scalability, and availability of all infrastructure systems.
Develop operating and configuration manuals for all systems.
Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, PnPs & prompt closure to Audit findings.
Ensure IT related services continuity and efficient support to all units Globally / ITSO and/or Country Levels.
Ensure proper operations and implementation of Office Automation solutions and services in Arab bank.
Select, implement and manage infrastructure solutions / projects across the Arab Bank Globally / ITSO and/or Country Levels.
Monitor and follow up with all Arab Bank ITSO centers to ensure proper operations and implementation of all infrastructure solutions and services.
Manage and Admin Arab Bank Global / ITSO / Countries infrastructure solutions.
Ensure that infrastructure monitoring and capacity planning functions are performed systematically and periodically in the all ITSO Countries.
Evaluate and study any new enhancement to working environment by upgrading or implementing a new infrastructure solutions and services.
Participate in the selection of IT global/local solutions / services.
Participate as necessary in the vendor evaluation process.
Disaster Recovery office automation planning and implementation.
Participate in the project delivery and execution.
Adhere and comply to all PnPs and work actively to close all related audit findings
Job Requirements:
Education:
Graduated degree in a technical discipline (i.e. CIS, CS and Computer Engineering)
Experience:
3 – 5 years in IT technical positions in a major financial institution or in a banking solutions vendor.
Knowledge of system integration with database , networking , backup and virtual computing environments.
Exposure to these technologies is highlight preferred ; SAN, NAS, Dell-EMC, PowerMAX, VMAX and IBM Storage systems such as DS8K, V7K systems, Cisco MDS , SAN Brocade switches, VMware vSphere, VERTIAS NetBackup ,Veeam backup and replication.
Development knowledge of data backup and restoration methodologies.
Development knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting, testing, and performance tuning in Storage platforms.
Development knowledge of storage best practices for current VMware, Windows and Linux operation systems, File systems, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and Exchange.
Development working knowledge of Networking, Fiber Channel concepts, and technologies.
Good working knowledge of virtualization and/or cloud technologies e.g. VMWARE, Hyper-V, OpenShift.
knowledge of storage best practices for current VMware, Windows and Linux operation systems, File systems, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and Exchange.
