Job Responsibilities:
- Developing Relevant Policy and Procedures to ensure compliance with AML Regulations and goAML Requirements
- Assistance in goAML Registration Applicability and Registration
- Assistance in Suspicious Transactions Reporting (STR) at goAML portal
- Assistance in reporting transactions above AED 55,000 at goAML portal
- Assist in establishing internal compliance structure to support reporting requirements
- Advice Automation of goAML by deploying industry leading innovative software solution
- Review all necessary documents and transactions relating to the Company and its clients on a monthly basis
- Ensure compliance of the business against internal AML/CFT policies and procedures
- Advise management on the Company's compliance with laws and regulations through bi-annual compliance reports
- Communicate to all Staff about the AML CFT Policy and Procedures
- On-going monitoring of transactions to identify high-risk, unusual and suspicious customers/transactions
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit findings and compliance violations
- Arrange to retain all necessary supporting documents for transactions, KYC, monitoring, suspicious transaction reporting
- Propose actions required to address gaps, if any
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 8 years proven experience in a compliance officer role out of which at least 3-4 years experience in a gold refinery/ gold trading
- Good knowledge of legal requirements, UAE laws and procedures.
- High level computer literacy
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
- Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
