Telecom Engineer (FTTH Designer)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Engineer and design FTTH and other OSP design types following industry standards and customer specified methods and procedures (both high /low level design).
- Utilize the following design tools & software: AutoCAD, ArcGIS & Ericsson Network Engineer (Telecom Physical Inventory Management System).
- Produce a detailed BOM/BOQ.
- Report on all Infrastructures related issues and site survey output.
- Clean customer provided base maps as required.
- Interact internally with other engineers to ensure proper implementation of project & quality is maintained.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months general practical experience.
- Outside Plant (OSP) Telecoms, Civil & Cable work experience.
- Knowledge in GIS technology and industry using ESRI suite of products is a plus
- Strong Analytical skills, strategic thinking & Good Communication Skills.
- Self-driven and initiative.
- High sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
- Result Oriented.
- Ability to Travel if needed.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or relevant major.
