Responsibilities

• Issue items as per requirements from the departments
• Follow up with Procurement Department to check status of purchase requisitions
• Submit original copies of goods receipt note, invoice, to Finance Department
• Process entries related to receipt and issuance of material in the system
• Periodically check inventory levels and update the Store Supervisor to ensure adequate supply of materials to serve requirements of all Departments.
• Coordinate with Procurement Department as per instructions of store supervisor to ensure correct purchase orders are generated against purchase requisitions
• Ensure that copies of goods receipt note, invoice, are submitted to Procurement Department
• Update system for all transfer of material and receipt of stock
• Coordinate movement of materials received at camp store area to stores in the port premises
• Validate the goods on arrival from the suppliers and in case of any discrepancies report the issue to Store Supervisor
• Periodically conduct inventory check, count, report to store supervisor in case of discrepancies
• Record Number and nature of accidents. Ensure safety principles are followed
• Responsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work area
• Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standards
• Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices
• Ensure compliance with HSE policy
• Reporting accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures

المهارات

Qualifications:

• Background in procurement, inventory management/material management function
• Education :Mandatory: Higher Secondary (12th Grade), Preferable: Diploma
• Intermediate English
• Computer Skills: Excel
