They are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant Fixed Assets to be based in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules in the ERP System provide monthly detail to the Senior Accountant for General Journal entries insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals, perform fixed assets observations as required
- Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department
- Prepare correspondence as needed within the finance and accounting department
- Assist management with facility support and security issues
- Perform and review ad hoc analysis as required
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Report to management regarding the finances of organization
- Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of ERP software
- Advise in areas such as the design of accounting or data processing systems
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
- Provide support to internal or external audit teams and
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration
- Minimum five years of experience working in a corporate organization, preference given to Big4 audit experience.
- Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
- Highly skilled in use of Excel/PowerPoint
- Highly skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department which may include translation
- Excellent verbal skills
- Team player and ability to oversee team players
- Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to completed the required tasks
- Ability to work in stressful, last minute and deadline driven oriented tasks.
