Responsibilities Role: Managing government affairs and other government operational-related licenses, facing our PCE and CFI plants and DC operations in Upper Egypt Accountabilities: • Assist in stakeholder management – Initiating contact, regular communication, organizing meetings, drafting letters to government stakeholders • Effectively drive relations with representatives of various Ministries within the region. • Responsible for acquiring/renewing all the required licenses to operate the factories and Distribution Centers • Responsible for ensuring that the company’s facilities falling within the region has all the permits required for operations • Ensure that company adheres to the legal standards and specifications for operating factories and distribution centers • Continuous risk assessment to ensure no or minimal business exposure related to licenses and permits • Crisis management related to potential issues in licenses, permits, utilities, health requirements, safety requirements, product issues, etc.. • Provide necessary support for operational expansions by providing the various required documentation from different stakeholders to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and in full. • Managing one specialist for Upper Egypt. Managing government relations ethically "#Locations : New Cairo, Egypt " Qualifications Skills & Qualifications: Education: BA degree or equivalent (regardless the type of the education) Scope and years of experience: A minimum of 5 years with working experience in government affairs, licensing and other issues related to government relations. Working experience in government, consultancies, or multinationals companies. Language proficiency: Fluency in Arabic language is required Computer skills: Windows MS office user Personal traits: • Excellent oral and written communications • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills • Good understanding of the political, social, and economic context of the market • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels • Preferrable to have experience working in a governmental entity • Take immediate action to solve business related issues and logical thinking when working under pressure.
