Duties
This position is primarily to be the Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator for the Division. Directly assists the DoDEA Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program Manager with creating, documenting, executing and maintaining a robust Title VII Equal Employment Opportunity ADR program across the DoDEA footprint. Ensures that the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program meets regulatory requirements by assisting the ADR Program Manager in functional program evaluation reviews and complaint monitoring and trending activities. Serves as the Agency POC for scheduling mediation and conducting pre-mediation conferences for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Will serve as one of the trainers for HQ DoDEA personnel, to include employees, leadership, supervisors and managers. Provides guidance on equal opportunity problems and needs to major DoDEA organizational component, such as the DoDEA Regional and District Offices.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Carries out mediation efforts in compliance with Agency Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program policy, negotiated agreements, and memorandum of understanding; Provides information to managers and employees on the process and procedures for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program; Assist in formulating and preparing responses to inquiries from unions, agency officials, employees, and other interested parties; Create and deliver EEO training to include related topics such as: Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), EEO complaints process, Harassment, etc.; Serves as the Agency POC for scheduling mediation and conducting pre-mediation conferences.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
