We are seeking an experienced Hotel Chief Accounts to join a unique pre-opening Hotel resort Doha
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Hotel chief accounting to be part of a close-knit team within a property designed to offer a completely different experience for its guests.
We are looking for someone able to manage and develop a small accounts office team, work closely with the General Manager and liaise closely with the Executives to continue operational and commercial success.
Your background should show a thorough understanding of hotel Chief, accounting procedures, and operating systems. You should also have been in a similar position within a self-accounting property with an annual turnover in excess of 25M.
Although part of a global company’s impressive and diverse portfolio, this is very much a “stand-alone” business allowing the team to be creative as well as benefit from terrific backing and support from its owners.
This assignment is definitely a chance for a talented person with an exceptional record as a hotel Financial Controller to join a warm and welcoming company. This assignment is open to those currently permitted to live and work in Doha (local recruitment).
Some essential skills and knowledge for this role:
· ACCA/CIMA Qualified
· Procure Wizard Software
· Microsoft Dynamics/Navision & Jet Reports
· Opera PMS/ Micros POS
· EPS/Sage Payroll System
· Strong finance and accounting knowledge
· Excellent communication & presentation skills
· Excellent Analytical skills
- Analyze balance sheets, income, cash flow statements, and other reports to assess accuracy.
- Provide assistance with balance sheets, tax calculations, and financial statement information.
- Assist the independent auditor in conducting an annual evaluation of company records.
- Prepare accurate reports on all the financial closing statements of the company.
- Publish financial statements in time.
- Coordinate with the management and uphold the standard laws and regulations for monitoring, updating, and maintaining fiscal activities.

- Apt in handling financial tasks like budgeting, planning, and calculating variance which reduces business expenses.
- Proven command of negotiation skills to build long-lasting partnerships with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed and accurate reports within the given timeframe as per requirements.
- Ability to handle relevant software like Microsoft Suite for efficient preparation of reports and statements.
