The team you’ll be part of
The Customer Experience (CX) organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally, and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing a deep understanding of local markets for our customers, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.
About Enterprise Business Centre and Rail Business Centre
The Enterprise Business Center team is an integral part of the Enterprise Sales (EnSA) organization inside Customer Experience and is responsible for presales and delivery orchestration of Enterprise Solution and multi-Business Groups projects.
Within Enterprise Business Centre, the Rail Business Center:
- owns the Business Development and presales process for all Rail opportunities worldwide
- consolidates the best Rail talent from a Business Development and Presales perspective in this team
- ensures that rail opportunities are following a presales model and qualification standards that integrate past learnings and leverage the combined experience of the team
- works with the Market Enterprise Business Centre heads to develop a standardized blueprint for the delivery of the rail business which is currently fragmented across markets
What you will learn and contribute to
The Presales Consultant within the Rail Business Centre, positioned as Rail Subject Matter Expert, will be expected to orchestrate multi-Business Units deals by means of structuring, scoping, costing, pricing, and ensuring validation and optimal delivery. The tasks may also require imagining new business models to bring Nokia offering to the rail sector, in the shape of managed services or SaaS value proposition. Main tasks include:
- Leading customer engagements, RFP responses, developing blueprint or customized solution as well as service offerings, and participating in pre-sales process including the development of proposals and estimates towards the rail customers
- Interfacing customers to help Customer Teams identify key customer requirements and propose solutions
- Defining optimized E2E solutions focusing on Railway customers, leveraging the global expertise of the Rail BC team and the other supporting teams
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Interest in bid management, technical presales, or delivery (solutions and services), preferably with exposure to the mission-critical enterprise sector
- Strong inclination towards customer-facing selling and system solution knowledge
- Knowledge of the communication technology landscape employed in the railway sector in regard to fixed and mobile communication, security, and other telecom-related application such as CCTV, Customer Information Systems and Telephony
- Ability to build Total Cost of Ownership business cases, and another type of financial business modeling to influence pricing strategy and value to the customers
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience/ motivation for the rail sector
- French and/or German proficiency for business purposes as a plus
