We are the national distributor for some of the leading heavy equipment brands and a provider of bespoke power solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As part of our growing business operations we have several vacancies for Genset Technicians. This requirement is for our various branches. Saudi Nationals will be given a preference.

Moves, assembles, installs, or dismantles machinery. Interprets schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches
Analyses plans for new equipment and maps out space to unpack and assemble new equipment
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to keep all the electrical systems perform as per expected equipment performance
Troubleshoot any errors in organizational equipment using hi-tech tools and suitable testing equipment
Safely install electrical and electronic equipment wiring by adhering to
Fix errors in electrical systems by installing safety and distribution parts with utmost care and efficiency
Troubleshoot components for eliminating potential hazards and offer practical solutions for the same
Troubleshooting and field repair of large sophisticated high or low speed generators with output greater than 13.8KV as well as control devices e.g., auto start, auto load share, auto parallel, auto stop, synchronizing, etc.
Keep up to date with the latest technology and are adequately trained in diagnostic and fault tracing methods
Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations.

Qualification:

Associate Degree (Diploma depending on the region) in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical
Technical training certificates from OEMs
Candidates with a valid KSA Driving License

Knowledge , Skills and Experience:

Experience in servicing and repairing different name brands not limited to MHI like MTU, Caterpillar, Cummins, Doosan, Detroit Diesel, John Deere and Volvo
Practical knowledge of Mechanical, Thermal, Hydraulic, Electronics principles
Perform welding, fabrication, and calibration as needed
Working knowledge of Electrical components of genset like alternator, control panel
Thorough knowledge of Diesel Engine, Fuel, Lubrication, Cooling and Exhaust systems
Technically competent, Computer literate and competent in the use of a lap top for trouble shooting, Knowledge of Electrical Schematics and Electronics
Experience using tools like drill, multimeter, feeler gauge etc.
Read technical drawings and schematic diagrams primarily mechanical and electronic
Highly proficient in Technical English
Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly MS Outlook and Calendar
A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
Analytical and systematic problem-solving approach
5 –7 years experience in similar field.
