Job Purpose: The Assistant Brand Manager will play a critical role in Implementing strategies on NPC brands, to improve brands key business KPI’s following marketing insights & trends, with strong execution of brand plans in line with the Annual operating plan Key Accountabilities: Flawless execution of marketing initiatives within MU Plan & execute the brand’s marketing calendar in full, working with cross-functional team to deliver excellent in market brand execution. Manage the brand’s A&M budget. Work with agencies to deliver brand research, activations, including sampling & promotion plans. Translate local knowledge to engaging brand activations. Work on localizing launches & activations, including ad copies, POSM, & packaging. Align field operations to the marketing calendar and provide the needed support. Communicate initiatives to sales force and support them. Align activities with stakeholders, including sales team, regional teams, & legal team. Manages agency/supplier on local production of marketing materials and media buying Develop local media contactOwns local events and activities Negotiates and executes events, sponsorships, samplings within BU guidelines Acts as “guardian of brand” to ensure all local execution meets Pepsico standards Executes local tactical initiatives, e.g. value promotional package Manages local brands if no synergy internationally Manage approval process (Packaging, Promotion) with agencies, suppliers and government Authorities.Provides input to BU Provides input on program design and performance in market Reports on competitor initiativesSupport the achievement of monthly & yearly sales targets (Commercial) Monthly follow up on distributors sales progress Reports gaps & suggest correction measures Analyse in market sales and distributionDrive the development of channels specific initiatives Develop and communicate MT-channel specific consumer offers/promotions Support in driving TT-channel agenda and initiatives required for the development NPC Brands Market visits for data collection Closely works with DX function to ensure flawless execution of trade/consumer offers#LI-MENA Qualifications Qualifications / Requirements Prior working experience as an Assistant Brand Manager or a similar role. Thorough understanding of product pricing, packaging, distribution, and positioning. Conversant with current marketing trends and best practices Impeccable research, data collection, and analysis skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Team player with a creative and results-oriented mindset Exemplary time management skills. Good understanding of market trends and retail selling.
