My client is a Design Office in Bahrain specialized in high end residential projects. We pride ourselves in being able to adapt to projects and to the client's need.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing general layouts, plans, sections, spot details and complete detailed drawings. The position is responsible for working closely with other members of the design team. Taking responsibility for the delivery of the working drawings of the project
Responsibilities:

• Work alongside interior designer for the development of design for drafting from schematic to detailed working drawings – regarding accuracy, design, drafting standards and design documentation.
• Prepare working drawings and coordinate with multiple projects from start to finish.
• Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.
• Verify all FF&E items, including sanitary-ware specified by the interior designer.
• Provide technical oversight necessary in the preparation of preliminary and final plans and specifications for the projects review work in progress and submit finished drawings to the interior designer.
• Respond to complex site conditions with follow up drawings.
• Work closely with Interior Designers, Drafters, and Project Managers to ensure coordination design efforts are maintained.
• Complete project responsibilities within scope and schedule.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain all revisions of project drawings.
• Update and maintain drafting log.
• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.
• Participate in project meetings as required.
• Prepare drawing documents for review with Team Leader for client's submittal.

Qualifications Required:

• Degree in architecture or related technical subject
• Strong technical skills and keen eye for detail
• Solid background and experience in AutoCAD software
• Strong organizing and coordination skills
• Clear communication skills, verbal, written and oral
• Knowledge of construction, building design, practices and techniques would be preferable
• Multitasking, assertive and quick leaner
• Language Skills: Must have the full capability to read, analyze and interpret drawings and specifications. Therefore, fluency in the language is mandatory for this position.
• Reasoning ability: Proactive to solve problems and ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• The candidate should also be self-innovative, creational and able to work under minimum level of supervision in a heavy workload environment. This will be beside a quality sense of defining technical problems, and solutions.
