To ensure planning function follow all SHEM applicable standards. Contribute in SHARQ safety improvement by conducting safety audit in plant (SAE Tour), generating e-SHEM report in the system, generating idea proposals.

To prepare efficient and cost effective job plans & schedules for all maintenance activities pertaining to his area of responsibility. Take proactive leadership in conducting effective job reviews to identify corrective action to comply performance and cost effectiveness.

As per the work management system ‘AMWP’ following are the key responsibilities of the Planning engineer :

Follow plant zone concept in planning and scheduling. Conduct weekly meeting and PST meeting. Participate plant zone walk down at T-7 week. Prepare weekly report which includes (Safety Minutes, Notification analysis report, Log of new action items, review of last action items, List of schedule breakers in the last week, T-2 week job for final review, T-1 week job list for freezing, T-6 week job list for finalizing to start detailed planning, Weekly KPI report, Prepare KPI noncompliance exception report, Spare Parts weekly update report). Review Prepare T-6 list for the particular zone prepare by area planner. Attend the ‘job selection session’ weekly. Checking in sap system for ‘RTP’ code for the selected jobs by operation from the T-6 list, to start detail planning. Checking in sap system for ‘RTS’ code for jobs after final review in ‘job selection session’ by operation & maintenance in (T-2). Review in detail the scope of work & job plans, inspection requirement, safety procedures, waste disposal procedures & specialized craft requirement to contractors. At T+1 week, take updated list of last execution week about job completed or carryover status from operation day supervisor and preparation of weekly KPI.

For the PM activity Monitor and follow the Preventative Maintenance schedule aligned with the work management system ‘AMWP’ to reduce equipment breakdown.

Reviewing detailed job package for the complex activity. This includes:

Development of detailed task list of the job. Acquiring specification data of the equipment. Acquiring drawing and P & ID. Acquiring Standard Maintenance Procedure. Creating PR’s for services required to be done by outside contractors. Follow up with outside contractors based on the service requirement. Check and reserve Spare Parts as per the job requirement. Check stock availability of the Spare parts for the required job and if any short fall in the required quantity of SP, follow up with SP group to timely availability of that particular SP.

Daily check the new notifications created by operation and check the work order created by area planner with initial labor estimate with task list. Daily check operation confirmations in SAP for the completed jobs & take measures to identify operations which are dropped from the schedule to be rescheduled. Take the status of corrective & PM jobs as per schedule. Discuss the emergencies & urgent which were raised by operation, and reschedule the dropped jobs due to emergencies & urgent. Doing business completion for all work orders after 6 months from order confirmation. Maintaining SAP data accuracy. Guide and Lead people to utilize the SAP system properly. All jobs performed during off items have to be verified for confirmation & completion of actual.

Job description & Qualification:

Minimum Qualifications: (Degree, training, or certification required)

– Graduate BS degree/deploma ( Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation/ Industrial Engineer )

– Mechanical maintenance background, at least worked 5 years or above in maintenance.

Minimum Experience: (Technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required)

– Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance

– Experience in Process ( Hydrocarbon ) type of industry.

– Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office, MS Project and Primavera.

Job Specific Skills: (Key functional, leadership, or business skills required)

– Full knowledge of SAP PM, PS & MM module.

– Aware of other related SAP modules.

– Able to read engineering drawings.

– Knowledge of standards and codes.

– Familiar with latest techniques, tools & software such as Primavera CASP,MS –Project applied in Maintenance planning and scheduling.

– Computer skills (Word, Excel, SAP, MS project)

Competencies: (Key functional, leadership, or business competencies required)

– Presentation and reporting skills.

– Planning skills,

– Good analytical and logical thinking,

– Problem solving skills

– Communication skills.
