They are currently looking for a Senior Operations Specialist to be based in Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the development, continuous updating and roll-out of a comprehensive Medical Emergency Response Plan
- Provide training and readiness sessions with relevant persons to ensure all are prepared should an emergency occurs
- Track emergency incidents, identify patterns and proactively propose solutions to minimize or eliminate the occurrence of emergencies
- Conduct regular review or assessments to ensure resource availability, protocol appropriateness and ensure risks are clearly identified and managed/mitigated
- Conduct post-event reviews and provide reports to management on event, identify learnings and provide recommendations for avoiding incidents or improving response in the future
- Act as the point of contact for vendors for the healthcare service operations (incl. advanced health center, clinics, laboratory, helicopter, and health events)
- Collect and assess the relevant community health and operator performance data and conduct periodic reviews of the state of community health, performance of vendors, etc.
- Support in the assimilation of any complaints/issues/hazards/violations, develop recommendations, escalate appropriately, and monitor until resolution
- Actively identify gaps in services offered, challenges in service delivery and any unmitigated risks, and develop recommendations for management attention
- Actively and urgently support as needed in emergency or crisis resolution
- Assist in the development of reports on capabilities and post-incident reporting
- Contribute to the development and roll-out of innovative campaigns targeting company's residents to promote healthier behaviors and awareness of the available health resources and services
- Support in the coordination and delivery of health-related events
- Stay up to date with new and updated information about COVID-19, and provide guidance as needed on relevant policies, protocols, and guidelines
- Support in the development and implementation of comprehensive policies, processes and procedures as needed to complement those of the vendors
- Support in monitoring new developments in regulations as they relate to company community health operations and work with management to assess relevance and incorporate into company protocols and procedures where necessary
- As a secondary interface for medical service provision, will need to be contactable, responsive, and approachable to the sector's primary stakeholders
- Support working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Develop action plans from feedback provided by stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
- Prepare scope of work documents to support new contract establishment or renewal of existing contracts
- Assist team to perform their operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with specialism in medical or clinical care
- Advanced post-graduate degree or studies in medicine, public health management is highly beneficial
- Certificate and/or diploma in quality management is beneficial
- 10+ years experience in healthcare management and/or health care operations
- Experience in Quality Management
- Experience in project and program management
- Must speak Arabic and English
