MERCHANDISING
JOB PURPOSE:-
Responsible for implementing the day to day merchandising activities and ensuring that the right amount of products are available in the right place at the right price, at the appropriate time, in correct quantities and overall stock control is accurately maintained at the specified locations.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Implement the retail department’s established policies and procedures.
Implement & Conduct the weekly visit schedule received from the sales executive in order to follow up & ensure that stocks and brands are available and are properly displayed in stores.
Implement merchandising strategies that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Analyze figures, customer’s feedback and market trends to anticipate product needs & plan product Ranges/stock.
Ensure all products are timely delivered in the right quantity as per the agreement between the company and the customers.
Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products properly.
Maintain store shelves & inventory and also produce layout plans for stores.
Monitor stock movement and ensure stock is filled as and when needed.
Maintain store shelves by removing near expiry or damaged products.
Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores and should have proper coordination.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field.
Minimum 1 year of proven working experience in merchandising.
