S/he works under the direct supervision of the Head, SDG Integration, and collaboratively with teams across UNDP’s Regional Hubs, Policy Centers and Global Policy Network. S/he manages the development of knowledge and learning methods to ensure optimal knowledge flows and expertise exchange that drives excellence in development solutions. Duties and Responsibilities Community Manager – Gender Equality plays an important role in fostering strong substantive engagement within and across the CoP, supporting purpose-driven spaces to share and exchange ideas and source development solution. The Community Manager – Gender Equality will work closely with the other 7 Community managers to ensure cross collaboration and integration. S/he works with teams across UNDP’s Regional Hubs, policy centers and Global Policy Network, and relevant partners. S/he manages the development of tools and methods to support countries achieve priorities set out in the Knowledge Management Strategy. She/he will work, in close collaboration with other advisors and specialists of Country Offices, the Regional Hub and HQ (BPPS, RBA) to reduce gender inequalities in the region, in line with the upcoming Gender Equality Strategy 2022-2025. She/he will be responsible for: • Policy Development. • Programme Integration and Coordination. • Partnerships and Resource Mobilization. • Knowledge Management, Learning and Innovation.
