Overview of the role
Famco is expanding the Volvo Bus sales and need to manage key government account (Abu Dhabi ITC, Dubai RTA, Sharjah RTA, DTC etc.) to increase the sales and work on the yearly tenders of Volvo buses. As a National Sales Manager – Buses, you will be based in Dubai and your role will develop and implement sales strategy and plans in order to achieve high levels of sales & profit.
What you will do
- Lead the sales activities and strategy to achieve the target, follow up the daily activity and report submission, support in customer visits, to achieve the targets and maintain the agreed gross margin.
- Communicate with the principal and specify the product specs and improvements required, monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Work on the tender specifications with different stakeholders in Famco and with the principal
- Enhance customer base in the designated region
- Achieve and maintain high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating
- Work closely with the aftersales team as a good team player and provide support whenever required

Required skills to be successful
- Extensive bus sales experience
- Experience in handling government accounts and tenders
- Ability to manage projects, tenders and key accounts
- Bus technical knowledge
What equips you for the role
- Must have a good understanding of commercial vehicles in general and buses market
- 5 – 7 years of commercial or technical roles in buses Sales with project management experience and background
- Bus technical knowledge, admin and managerial experience, customer interface experience, manufacturer knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation skills & good team player.
- Passion for continuous learning & improvement
