Job Description

Job Purpose
The Change Specialist is responsible for facilitating business readiness for organisational change initiatives through the application of change management tools and methods. In this role, you will support employees of the business unit through changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, ways of working, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
– Plan – Collaborate with the dnata AO leadership team to translate the strategic vision into a programme of activities and initiatives,
– Understand the plan for annual organisational change plan across the business to enable a single consistent communication message,
– Ensure continuous development of self by embracing new procedures, technologies and processes that support change,
– Ensure continuous engagement within the business, learning and adapting to what works and partnering with internal teams for specialist capability and corporate practice.
– Deploy – Partner with operational departments and other group functions (including but not limited to Learning and Talent, Corporate Communications, and HR BP) to execute the necessary change management activities,
– Work with communities of change agents to support them and to give feedback to the change programme and deliver on agreed change management plans and deliverables and report on progress.
– Lead – Lead and support the business/line departments so that they are equipped to fulfil the role of change sponsor as they help their teams through transitions and changes to ways of working,
– Develop a mechanism to measure progress and make sure the change accomplishes the intended results. Identify the key performance indicators (KPIs) for each change initiative and measure and report on progress.
– Execute – Support and execute change programmes partnering with internal and external teams,
– Create learning programs by designing and developing engaging, exciting and easy-to-consume learner centred training material, modules, video and other virtual learning products for online learning,
– Coordinate the running of engagement events to ensure all activities have the right level of change support,
– Create effective and engaging visual communications including videos, articles, print copy, blog posts and other visual media that support development and adoption activities driven by the department.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
– Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
– PROSCI certification an advantage
Experience
– 5+ years of experience working on change/transformation initiatives in a large organisation
Knowledge/Skills
– Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
– Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence teams in order to build trust and motivate internal and external stakeholders to embrace change
– Able to translate organisations general needs and goals into a clear change management plan
– Ability to manage and adapt to multiple change initiatives simultaneously
– Able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
– Ability to coach and support key stakeholders across teams
– Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts, understand organisational issues
– Knowledge of key business concepts, particularly as they relate to commercial aviation/ground handling industry
