Qualifications
- University degree
- 3+ years of recruiting experience with knowledge of professional services-based recruiting/campus recruiting is a strong plus
- Strong analytical/numerical ability including high degree of comfort with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong strategic thinker ability to see and manage to the big picture while driving impact on specific initiatives
- Proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions desire and energy to continuously improve recruiting processes
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Demonstrated initiative, judgment and maturity mindful of external reputation and caring with confidential information
- Ability to build great relationships with candidates, recruiting colleagues and consultants at all levels
- Ability to coordinate multiple streams of work independently comfortable working with minimal direction
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to deal with last minute changes ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
- Willingness to travel if needed
Who You'll Work With
You will be based in our Cairo or Doha offices as an integral member of our Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa recruiting team and the firm's recruiting community. You will collaborate closely with the recruiting team and office leadership to lead recruiting strategy and candidate life cycle recruiting efforts for the office location and continue to innovate McKinsey's recruiting strategy.What You'll Do
You will be a strategic and creative leader primarily responsible for driving and managing all aspects of recruiting for firm services professionals in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africaregion.
In this role, you will lead all recruiting efforts to attract, assess and cultivate talent from core and emerging sources. This includes identifying and building personal relationships with target candidates, managing a high volume of applications and leading and/or supporting large scale interview days as well as cultivating relationships in celebration events.
You will manage McKinsey's presence and reputation on campus by building relationships with career services contacts and maintain strong relationships with McKinsey's global offices/practices (consultants and recruiters). You will advise on best approaches for focused activity on campus and ensure appropriate representation and engagement from participating offices/practices throughout the recruiting life cycle.
You will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing recruiting results and disseminate all relevant information relating to your efforts including developing annual analysis of recruiting results against historical and competitive benchmarks and identifying strategies to improve recruiting initiatives.
