BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE

Creates management frameworks and processes that ensure IT activities are performed in a controlled manner and according to the defined responsibility of the IT organization. The overall purpose of these frameworks and processes is to maximize the value derived from IT activities. Oversees the financial performance and IT service performance and quality according to agreed KPIs and prepares management reports to track and communicate performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Stakeholder Management: Works closely with managers of each functional area to ensure compliance with reporting procedures and standards and to gather the necessary input to generate relevant management reports
Governance & Processes: Gathers necessary input from IT leadership team to develop and maintain an effective IT governance framework. Specifies the decision rights and accountability framework to encourage a certain behaviour that is coordinated and supports the overall direction of IT. Follow-up on key stakeholders (e.g. performing IT Audit) to ensure compliance to IT policies, processes and standards
IT Architecture Governance: Together with Manager of Digital Architecture organizes the logic for data, applications and infrastructure captured in a set of policies, relationships as well as technical choices with the purpose of enabling NHC to achieve desired business and technical standardization and integration and ensuring IT solutions/services that provide the foundation IT capability are being shared across the NCH
IT Infrastructure Governance: Together with Head of infrastructure Manager establishes and maintains governance processes and ensuring centrally coordinated IT effort across the technology services
IT Investment: Together with Senior PMO establishes and maintains PMO governance process decisions related to how much and where to invest in IT, including project approvals and justification techniques. Follow-up on programs/project to ensure they adhere to governance principles and standards
Sourcing Governance: Establishes and maintains business requirement governance that specify the business need for purchase or internally developed IT applications
Financial Management: Manages budget creation and update cycles. Ensures the overall IT budget reflect the budgets established for each functional area and the budget is maintained according to the update cycle. Reviews and approves invoices from vendors. Ensures IT services delivered internally and externally have been priced and charging processes have been implemented
Quality Management: Act as primary point of contact on quality and regulatory requirements for IT. Assures quality of services purchased from internal and external suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness
Technology: Manages and approves technology decisions together with key IT stakeholders

المهارات

Qualifications & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in related fields.
Experience in developing business process modeling (BPM) and IT governance.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and multiple tasks.

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Governance.
