Job Summary
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Operations Manager, the Senior Holidays Coordinator role is to plans, organizes, and creates holiday package combining tour and travel components suitable for client’s requirements.
Job Responsibilities 1
Assists customers with Hotel bookings, Visa assistance, travel insurance, International driving license and vehicle hire.
Analyses clients’ specifications or wishes and suggests suitable travel packages or services
Determines clients’ needs and suggest suitable travel packages
Organizes travel arrangements from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation, transportation and tours.
Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
Organizes travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation, etc.
Provides travellers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials (guides, maps, event programs etc.)
Makes reservations (normal and interline) as per customer requirements.
Handles Visa enquiries and travel insurance
Job Responsibilities 2
Creates and updates electronic records of clients
Prepares and uses promotional techniques and materials to sell itinerary tour packages
Handles unforeseen problems and complaints and determines eligibility for money returns
Attends conferences/seminars and workshop to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
Maintains relationships with key persons
Reaches the revenue and profit target
Responds to all calls quickly, professionally and courteously
Keep up to date with developments in the travel industry
Maintains professional image as per organization image quality standards
Creates attractive readymade/tailor made tour packages
Issues manual cash receipt if the cashier is not available.
