About Alsulaiman Group:

المهارات

• Lead Quantity Surveyor will lead all quantity surveying activities, including quantity take-off, preparation of construction cost estimates and Bills of Quantities.

• High proficiency of Market Knowledge for the preparation of high-level project cost estimates and advise to the Design Sectors during Project proposal stage.

• Responsible to create a ‘Rate Build up’ Database by periodically contacting/researching suppliers to obtain unit rates used for construction cost estimates along with latest construction methodologies.

• Closely work with design teams for the preparation of cost estimates at various design stages (e.g. concept design, schematic design, draft final design, tender documents), as needed.

• Conduct Value Engineering exercise for various design options presented by design teams, as needed and advise the team accordingly.

• Support in tendering process, by responding to tender clarifications, evaluation of contractor’s submission and the preparation of the Tender Analysis Reports.

• Support the calculation of upfront, high-level project cost estimates to Design Sectors and Geographies during the project sales process, as required.

• Ensure Client satisfaction with quantity surveying deliverables. Implement company policies and procedures.

Qualification, Knowledge & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Deep knowledge of quantity surveying best practices.

• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes

• Good communication & interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a top tier organization, specifically in a quantity surveying role with extensive knowledge of interior fit-out and finishing.

• Sound knowledge of the Saudi construction industry and local market rates
