Fire Fighter
Job Description
About this role:
- Role is concerned with following established ERS policies and procedures and keeping pace with the Qatar Civil Defense requirements to ensure systems are regularly updated
- Operates, at times, in a pressured environment to protect employees and protect company assets during minor/major incidents
Key Job Accountabilities – I
- Perform basic functional duties as a Fire Fighter involving fire prevention, inspections, awareness of control room operation, basic maintenance and responds to emergency under the direct supervision of leading Fire Fighter
- Conducts minor repairs to equipment and apparatus, performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance tasks, and keeps records of such action
- Participates in training activities and instruction sessions and undergo further training and development in line with ITP and demonstrate benefits achieved through application in the workplace
- Ensures familiarity with all street names and fire protection systems in the response area, as well as the location and operation of all equipment carried on Department apparatus
- Assist the Division in fire prevention and education activities
- Performs duties in safe manner and reports unsafe activity and condition
- Only Candidates locally available in Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco will be shortlisted.
What you need to bring:
Qualifications
- Secondary School education plus relevant vocational training program (mainly completion of Fire Fighting I & II and LNG Fire Fighting Emergency Dispatch module)
Knowledge and/or Experience – I
- 2 years experience as a Fire Fighter.
