Executive – Procurement

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities: – Receive purchase request as and when raised by the departments and brands.
– Enquiry to be sent to vendors to get the best available price quotes.
– Consolidate and comparison of various quotes thus received and communicate it further to the requestor.
– Solicit approval from the requestor to finalize the purchase order.
– Communication and co-ordination with vendors to ensure smooth delivery of the orders. Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors in case of any discrepancy.
– Coordinate with Accounts and Finance department for the payments to vendor.
– Maintain strong relationship with our existing and new vendors.
– Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communications with those vendors.
– Regular price comparison to ensure to get the best contract with the vendors.
– Stay up to date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company.
– Daily report for the Purchase orders.
– Monthly report for cost savings accumulation through new vendors, price optimization etc.
– Prepare the MIS reports as required by the team.
