Data Solution Architect Team Member
The Data Solution Architect Team Member is responsible for understanding and evolving business users’ requirements by modeling and developing end-to-end solution design. They will also build, optimize, and maintain conceptual and logical database models (Enterprise Telco model) in support of technical specifications and business requirements. Work cross-functionally with different business and technical departments and Business Analytics functions to design and adapt for any new requirements. Ultimately, they will develop data solutions to ensure the organization's information is stored effectively and securely.
Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:
- Work with Business functions and Data Platform teams to design and develop a new Zain telco model and manage the flow of data starting from different data sources up to KPIs level, this includes designing all data layers (Foundation, Analytical and Semantic).
- Gather data requirements from different business units, and with accordance with Business delivery team, and apply gap analysis to identify needed changes on all data solution blocks.
- Maintain the developed Telco Data model, plan the needed ETLs between all layers and define dependencies between jobs and processes.
- Own the development of data architecture and schemas design in support of technical specifications and business requirements.
- Understand and work with business analytics functions and business owners and translate their requirements into operational plan with a clear impact analysis on all solution layers and ETLs.
- Map business requirements into Zain telco Data model and apply impact analysis to identify related changes on all data solution blocks.
- Build business glossary and detailed documentation for Zain telco data model including foundation, analytical and semantic layers.
- Continuously provide status and results of telco-model creation and data marts with management along with highlighting requirements and risks for continuous enhancement.
- Follow-up on the execution of defined operational plan, defined ETLs, reports and dashboards and implement the needed design changes for the telco data model and business data marts.
- Serve as an aggregator between business and functional areas and technology to ensure that data business requirements are fulfilled.
