We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the Human Pharma Business in Saudi Arabia. This position reports to Head of Sales KSA.

The successful candidate will manage the business performance of promotional products in his/her territory while ensuring that the promotion fosters appropriate use and adheres to local regulatory and pharma code regulations. It also drives the flawless definition & execution of the team sales account plans aligned/based on the local activity/expert engagement plan.

This position requires a good understanding and teorethical knowledge in a subject area, requires a blend of formal knowledge and experience, understands how tasks are structured, how the business is organized and external best practices.It Has an impact in the business trough provision of valued added perspectives or advisory services in support of desicion making.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Ensure a balanced promotion of BI products with adherence to local regulatory and pharma code requirements by all team members.
  • Drive sales and market share target achievements by maximizing the number of appropriate patients that receive Boehringer Ingelheim products.
  • Ensure the definition and flawless execution of team sales account plans based on the local expert engagement plan, while ensuring to:
    • Analyse and profile customers
    • Develop, implement and follow up of customer engagement plans, using all available channels
    • Implement the customer engagement model, according to the adoption ladder and brand strategy within the respective team in each call
    • Actively look for business opportunities
  • Implement Integrated Customer Engagement by all team members, ensuring:
    • Cross functional coordination and collaboration to develop integrated customer journeys according to customer preferences:
      • Face to Face, Digital, Congresses and Continuous Medical Education;
      • Use of Digital Detail Aid’s and/or other approved scientifical materials as basis for Health Care Professional’s discussions
      • Actively collaborate with the respective team to operate and optimize the implementation of the customer engagement strategy.
  • Leadership & team management
    • Efficient use of resources based on business and market analysis
    • Coach, inspire, develop and manage the team (according to sales calls and business decision taking) to provide high quality outcome
    • Acting as driver for change management
    • Managing potentials and sucession in respective team, accountable for team development
    • Pro-actively provide feedback on team performance to Head of Sales
  • Cross-functional alignment (Brand teams, Head of Sales, other District Manager’s, Market Access, ClinOps, Finance,…)
    • Ensure high qualitative internal and external communication flow
    • Provide feedback from the field to internal stakeholders in order to optimize strategic decision making
  • Being a member of the Brand Team and contribute to Brand specific field force topics
  • Comply with BI policy, procedures and rules, performing all company business in accordance with the local and global policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
  • Minimum 2-5 years of work experience in sales in the pharmecutical industry
  • Experience in Private sector is preferred
  • In case of no pharmaceutical sales experience: 3 – 5 years experience in healthcare industry (e.g. hospital, pharmacy) or master in life science.
  • Skills: Acountability, Agility, Influencing skills, Results oriented, Project and key account management, Entrepreneurship
  • English&Arabic language skills
