Azure Infrastructure Senior Consultant
Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analysis of existing customer IT infrastructures and participation in the development of global target architectures Determination of optimization potentials in existing environments and advice on best practice implementations
- Feasibility assessment and implementation of innovative, hybrid cloud solutions
- Creation and optimization of operating concepts including cloud architectures, migration scenarios and hybrid architectures
- Development of data center concepts in special operations, backup / restore / disaster recovery, maintenance, monitoring and reporting
- Implementation of partly international, strategic and operational IT projects, plus responsibility for sub-areas of the system architecture and IT security Presentation of technical concepts and results
QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert understanding of key Azure components and concepts for both IAAS and PAAS including networking, compute, storage, security, backup, DR.
- Azure managed services and Azure well-architected framework, beside experience in Hybrid cloud environments
- Azure Components (AKS, ACR, Key Vault, App Gateway, Azure SQL, API Manager)
- Monitoring (Azure monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics and Dynatrace)
- Azure Security
- Technical understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products
- Designing, building, testing, automating, monitoring andsupportingsignificantcomponents withinamoderndigital service platform in production environments.
- Producing designs that are scalable, resilient, efficient, secure, cost-effective and minimise lock-in.
- Excellent customer facing communication, presentation skills and technical writing capability for tender responses, bids and proposals.
- Good experience in ARM, PowerShell, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef and Puppet
