Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish his/her research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University. English is the language of instruction and communication. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled. Role Description: . Teach and Supervise UAEU Master of Genetic Counseling students . Undertake research in areas of genetic counseling, communication, and the clinical application of genomics . Assists in variant classification based on emerging scientific information . Develop education and other materials related to the Master of Genetic Counseling Program and other areas within the Department of Genetics and Genomics, UAEU . Participate in the medical genetics, genetic counseling, and patient advocacy communities . Provide genetic counseling and facilitation of the communication of test results
Minimum Qualification
. PhD Degree from an accredited genetic counseling program . Genetic Counseling Board-certification
