Part-time Accountant
Are you driven by numbers? Do you enjoy analyzing financial reports to propose strategic financial recommendations and solutions? We are looking for a driven Accountant, who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional analytical skills, to perform daily accounting tasks like data entry, processing and recording transactions, assisting with audits, and preparing budgets and reports.
Job Location: Beirut Office
Work hours: 15 hours / week
Reporting to: Senior Operations Executive
Requirements
– 3+ years of accounting experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
– Hands-on experience with accounting software
– Advanced MS Excel skills
– Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
– Experience in dealing with clients
– Excellent organizational skills
– Great attention to details
– Good communication skills
Responsibilities
– Daily data entry onto the accounting software
– Create and update expense reports
– Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
– Update database to ensure all information is accurate and immediately available when needed
– Prepare yearly P&L reports and quarterly analysis reports
– Oversee the accounting processes with internal and external stakeholders
– Follow up on all payments and ensure receiving them in a timely manner
– Handle petty cash reporting and maintain proper filing
– Providing recommendations on optimizing operations and reducing costs
– Liaise internally with the different departments / teams to follow up on financial matters and project statuses
– Manage external payments to third parties
– Contribute in creating business operations strategies
– Create and manage the fiscal operating budget and expenses
– Manage all client invoices and ensure timely issuance as per agreements
– Be responsible for cash operations such as: logging, transactions, receipts, bank withdrawals, etc.
