Assistant Senior IS Auditor

Assistant Senior IS Auditor assists in the development of an annual IS audit plan to facilitate Al Sayer Group Holding protect its internal controls and data within its technology system, evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Information System controls and safeguard sensitive information by identifying weaknesses in the system’s network and recommend controls to prevent any security breaches. The responsibilities include:

1. Assist in the development and upgrade of the IS annual audit plan to help protect the organization’s data, systems, and networks.

2. Examine internal IT controls and assist in the evaluation of the operational effectiveness, determining exposure to risk, and recommending remedial measures.

3. Execute IS audit programs, identify audit findings and control deficiencies.

4. Supports all audit findings with sufficient evidentiary matter.

5. Perform special IS audit assignments and provide recommendations.

6. Discuss audit findings with relevant staff and management to ensure validity of points and clear any possible ambiguities.

7. Review, evaluate, and test application controls.

8. Develop a strong understanding of the business and system processes.

9. Evaluate adequacy of the corrective action to improve deficient conditions.

10. Support the internal audit team in all IT related issues.

11. Participate in the change management process.

Minimum Requirements:

Educational Qualifications and Experience: Primary: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (12th Standard + 3 years or 4 years degree) or equivalent with 4 years of experience

Alternate: Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (12th Standard + 2 or 3 years Diploma) or equivalent and 2 years of additional experience

Linguistic Abilities: English is a must

Driving License: Kuwait driving license is a must.
