Job Description

Summary
Responsible for preparation of bill of quantities used for public tender based on detailed engineering drawings indicating the requirements of individual components in the project. Verifies contractor's payments by a measurement of actually quantities on site.Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2. Checks and processes change orders and project extensions.
3. Verifies contractor payments by a measurement of actual quantities on site.
4. Assists in preparation of construction budget.
5. Prepares monthly and annual department statistical reports.
6. Monitors construction activities periodically through pictorial reports.
7. Prepares comparative tabulations of all bids received in order to assist the Hospital Bid Evaluation Committees.
8. Maintains the cost data of all construction projects.
9. Provides estimate for cost of equipment and construction.
10. Performs design and construction supervision as needed.
11. Provides engineering assistance to on-going capital project construction management.
12. Performs AutoCAD drafting.Education
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Experience Required
Three (3) years of related experience with Master's or five (5) years with Bachelor's Degree in construction field, with at least four (4) years as a Quantity Surveyor is required. Other Requirements(Certificates)
.Fluent in oral and written English.
.Non-Saudi Engineers must obtain minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
.Saudi Council of Engineers license is required.
