Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for the Customers defined by company criteria, with the aim of influencing their key decision makers in establishing stc as their first choice for their requirements, and providing leadership to account managers towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line of company vision and values.
Strategic Responsibilities:
Developing business plan and sales strategy for Oil & Gas sector that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability for this segment.
Prepares action plans with the team for effective search of major sales leads and prospects to penetrate new Oil & Gas customers ·
Visit Oil & Gas customers on regular basis, in order to strengthen relations and establish business opportunities.
Visit potential customers in order to asset the stuff to closing pending deals.
Build a good knowledge of the Oil & Gas environment, and Formulate account strategies to grow the business with all customers.
Follow up with the team in daily basis on the new opportunities and help them to open new sales channels
Evaluate new interconnect agreements (business case, legal and regulatory aspects, contracts) for all available opportunities Meet strict deadlines and respond in a timely and professional manner.
Visit major customers on regular basis, in order to strengthen relations and establish business opportunities.
Prepare full account development plan in order to identify all aspects of customer’s business in terms of revenue, requirements, opportunities, risk, etc. to ensure that all customer targets are met and achieved in most efficient and effective manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
Identify and promptly act on any current and future business opportunity in order to maximize revenue.
Build a good knowledge of the market environment in which the customer is operating and ensure timely reporting on market intelligence.
Create and maintain a strategic account development plan to satisfy needs in line with Solution by stc business plan on a win/win situation.
Improve and update knowledge on all new, existing and future services to better serve both Solution by stc customers.
Establish a “Virtual Team within Solution by stc to meet and support customer accounts effectively”.
Supply management with regular reports on customer revenue and variances in line with targets agreed in Business Plan.
Ensure that all services provided for the customers are achieved in accordance with solution by stc service delivery and assurance policy.
Respond to all request of a telecom nature concerning the major account user and implement all sales action related to business target as outlined by senior Account manager.
Visit customers on a regular basis to pre-empt possible problems, suggest appropriate solution and promote all products/ services as they become available.
Entertain customers as and when necessary in order to build strong relationship with the customer.
To act as single point of contact for major account customer at all time (including after duty hours).
Liaison with other department’s managers for day-to-day activities to comply with ISO 9001 standards (QMS) guide lines.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Professional certification such as Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) is preferred.
Language Skills:
Fluent English and Arabic skills (written and spoken) required.
Years of Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
