Degree Bachelor – Engineering / Masters – Engineering
Experience: At least 10 – 15 years UAE Experience
Highly proficient in Estimation of MEP Project (Hotels, Commercial & Residential, High-Rise Towers, Hospital, Universities / Schools, Shopping Malls, Oil & Gas, & Infrastructures (Roads, Railways, Telecommunication Facilities, Sewage, Airports & Power, Housing)
Strong Knowledge of Quantity take off software, Auto Cad, Revit MEP,
Carrier Hap, McQuay Pipe Sizer & Duct Sizer, e Promise,Plan Swift, Armtech, Candy, CCS & primavera 6.0, CRM, BnCC and SAP,
Key Skills: Proficiency in Verbal & written English Language, UAE Driving license is a plus Arabic Speaker an advantage
Study, analyze and evaluate tender documents from a technical point of view to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards for the overall risk assessment and bid decision. –
Spearhead Estimation Dept. – Mentor, Solicit and follow-up with the design/ drafting section during tender preparation for method optimizing to reach cost efficiency.
Review & finalizes project cost estimates as prepared by the Estimation Engineers in terms of the required material as per BOQ, amount of work, material/ equipment/ and manpower requirements during the tendering phase.
Liaise with the Procurement Dep to negotiate with approved vendors /suppliers & subcontractors for various supplies /material as per project (pre/post tender).
Finalize estimation – direct and indirect costs & consolidates tender documents for management review
Manager as per the project budget advise the Project Manager on contractual rights, remedies which has been taken into consideration during tendering.
Prepare and generates weekly/monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/ losses (indicating reasons) for review and verification of management.
Advise in determining types of projects to bid, strategies, techniques, etc.
Review final estimate packages for accuracy and completeness prior to formal quote.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and corporate/client presentation meetings as required.
Able to use Intelligence Portals ( such as BNC, etc) to analyse market opportunities and reaching the key person for any prospective project opportunities
Strong experience & knowledge Mechanical Estimation (HVAC, PLUMBING, FIRE FIGHTING (Tender, Take-off, BOQ) Pre-Contract & Post Contract).
Preparation of Evaluation of Tender / Contract documents and Bill of Quantities
pfinalization, Preparing Project Risk Analysis report.
Good experience in preparing Value Engineering Proposals. (Alternative tender proposal)
Excellent Knowledge ADDC, ADCD, ADM & ADSSC rules & regulation and obtain authorities approval.
Analyse and evaluate market quotation technically and commercially.
