About the team:
The purpose of the Marketing Manager role is to lead the Brand and creative Marketing initiative within Kuwait.. Understanding what activities increase our revenues, and building a strategy with deep insights into what works and doesn't work for Kuwait. This role requires a high level of market understanding and requires a diverse skill set across multiple areas, including social media marketing, PR, event planning, strategic and conceptual thinking, content creation, and relationship management.
What you'll do:

  • Build a country marketing plan that includes brand campaigns and partnerships to increase brand awareness and meet monthly targets.
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders in our space.
  • Collaborate with commercial team, management and other marketing colleagues, & aligning our department, team & individual goals.
  • Deliver great experience to our partners when working with our organization by representing our brand and being our partners liaison internally.
  • Forecast, measure and report results on various projects, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions incl. event partnerships.
  • Attend relevant events to evangelize the company mission and find like minded individuals and companies to align with on future initiatives.
  • Assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site collateral.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, communications, PR, creative teams, digital, care, social media and marketing cross-markets collaboration.
  • Come up with new ideas and initiatives to raise brand awareness across our different channels.
  • Ensure all posts and communication are within the brand guidelines.
  • Explore ways to further promote our brand with different stakeholders/partners.
  • Conduct continuous surveys and focus groups to understand user behaviour.
  • Oversee creative direction for campaigns and marketing activities.
  • Support social media team with direction to set quarterly and monthly social media plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of the geographical area of responsibility, especially major announcements, and monitor competition activities closely.

What you'll need:
The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer service, and a strong alignment with our core values: being bold, focused, agile and collaborative. Additional qualifications include:

  • 6+ years experience with at least 2 of them working as a marketing manager in Kuwait.
  • Ability to build a strong marketing strategy, including customer profiling, content marketing and funnel metrics.
  • Ability to put together a fully-fledged targeted marketing campaign and analyze ROI.
  • Ability to derive insights from numbers and take actions accordingly.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of a marketing plan including financials.
  • Ability to delegate to, motivate and develop a team of direct reports.
  • Self-starter, proactive, ability to own a task from A to Z by him/herself.
  • Humble with a positive attitude, ability to be hands-on and step up when required.
  • Good command of the English and Arabic languages, both speaking and writing
  • International and start up experience would be desired.
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
  • Good technical proficiency, great communication skills and a competent computer user
  • Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position such as Marketing.
