Concept Architect

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our team in Kingdom Saudi Arabia (remote location). The selected candidate will be part of a competent design-focused team and will manage the conceptual design review and approval of different asset types across whole NEOM. Acts as a fully capable design professional and a key member driving the Conceptual narrative/ vision of NEOM with minimal direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or senior team member.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing NEOM architecture design style

• Managing the design by creative approach and aesthetic design

• Responsible to deliver various architectural design types: masterplan, urban design, hospitality, residential, civic and cultural, commercial, public, transport, healthcare, educational, etc.

• Strong ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and presentations

• Qualitative architectural design review, comment, and recommendation

• Develop and review architectural asset briefs

• Prepare Scope of Works, reports and related data tables.

• Take initiative to develop design manuals, standard design documents

• Research on new technologies and trends

• Produce deliverables in accordance with NEOM standards and policies.

• Ability to work as part of a remote team and maintain ATKINS QA/QC standards

Knowledge & Experience:

• 8+ years post undergraduate of outstanding architectural design and management experience

• Design experience in various architectural types: master-planning, urban design, hospitality, residential, civic and cultural, commercial, public, transport, healthcare, educational, etc.

• Experience in Middle East is highly appreciated

• Understanding of scope definition and scope interface and ability to transmit the same to others.

• Knowledge of international standards, policies, codes and procedures and ability to transmit the same to others.

• Knowledge and appreciation of Statutory Authorities requirements,

• Knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.

• Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles
