Job description

This role you need to be a proactive person with excellent communication skills to enhance the sales of assigned product by offering Presales support to customers, you need to master the product knowledge to design solutions and assist sales persons to up-sell and cross-sell designated products.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

Convert customers /resellers inquiries into right technical solutions
Meet with end users to better understand their requirements if necessary.
Knowledge of competitive technologies to best position Silver Peak/Aruba, and understand how we interoperate with other technologies
Own the technical relationship with partners and resellers through technical training and enablement, sales support, problem escalation and new feature requests
Conduct demos and proof of concept (where applicable) to present right solution to customer (reseller and/or end user) or on the customer site
Design solutions blocks in collaboration with hardware/software vendors and present same to customer.
Arrange and conduct a technical training for partners/customers
Arrange and conduct in-house technical training for Logicom partner

Skills and Knowledge required:

Have a Engineer or equivalent degree
Have experience as a pre-sales Systems/System Engineer
Formal network training and certifications that are required specifically in areas of Networking (ACDX, ACCP, ACDP, CCIE, JNCP) or extensive experience designing and supporting complex enterprise networks.
Expertise in enterprise routing on both the LAN and WAN, with protocols BGP and OSPF. Working knowledge of how these protocols operate, and how they are configured in enterprise networks
Experience in network design, understand how the entire LAN and WAN architecture
Understanding of ‘legacy’ networks and how to interoperate them through the transition to SD-WAN
Own the room in network design discussion and whiteboard sessions
Knowledge of VRF, VLAN, IP Subnetting, IPV4 and IPV6, network protocols TCP and UDP, access control lists and other surrounding areas.
Knowledge of network firewalls and security services found in networks
Experience using the CLI on major router and switch vendors
Present to audiences of mixed roles and technical abilities within an organization
Hands-on experience with the configuration of networking gear
