Head of Influencer Relationships

Job Description

The Head of Influencer Relationships will be responsible for being the face of Yas Island/Yas Bay during celebrities and influencers visits to the destination. Their primary mission is to make sure everything that needs to be delivered and schedule for the influencer visit happens on schedule, and ensuring the asset requirements in terms of story telling, tagging, content is completed. This role requires the role holder to who have “jack-of-all trades” abilities, patience, and a keen sense of detail can succeed in this field. This role will not work a typical Sunday to Thursday 9 to 5 work hours, and in reality, live on call over weekends and outside work hours. Frantic day-to-day duties make the role of a celebrity personal assistant potentially exhausting. However, the perks and unique opportunities that come with the job can make it highly rewarding as well. Your job responsibilities will also include:

Communication skills will be a specialist in written and verbal interaction. A major part of their job includes communication and coordinating with various individuals that influence the content story telling required to be delivered
Administration skills administrative skills are a must and will be required to manage the influencers schedule and calendar and quickly shift priorities as needed
Research skills as part of the role and engaging with influencers will be required to research and locate contact information, activities, experiences, and more. Successful candidate will know how to track down hard to find information
Computer skills – must-have computer skills including the ability to set up and maintain email accounts, digital calendars, and more
Event planning coordinating events, parties, and celebrity gatherings as required as part of the overall destination event calendar.
Interpersonal skills will be constantly interacting with people, including their employer, other staff, potential publicists, managers, and more
Keep communications going with these influencers and other contacts so that they are familiar with you and your brand when the opportunity arises for a collaboration. The role holder will build a list of contacts that can help you on future influencer collaborations.
The role holder need to find ways to reach common ground with brands and influencers. Brands are typically trying to reach their KPIs with as little cost as possible, while influencers are trying to maintain creative control over their content and present an entertaining message to their audiences. At times, these goals can be at odds with each other, but a good influencer marketing manager will find ways to help both parties reach their goals and find common ground.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

Degree in performing arts, social media
Minimum 3 years experience in dealing with influencers, celebrities, VIP clients.

Organization, managing time effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously and a results driven mentality.
A strong understanding of influencer marketing by topic area and social media platforms, including contracting with influencers, content development and measurement
Expert knowledge of both paid and organic influencer marketing
Good knowledge of influencer marketing platforms and software
Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail, including drafting contracts, negotiating fees, collaborating with team members to execute, and following through *
Seamlessly able to work closely with planning and creative internal teams to drive business outcomes
