Inspect on site activities to identify and correct any discrepancies in the environmental, health and safety policies and proceduresEnsure that appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to the type of performed activitiesInspect and control purchased or existing equipment/material to prevent environmental, health and safety risk.Prevent potential incidents to staff/workers by controlling health and safety hazards and enforcing safety rules.React immediately to environmental, health and safety incident/accident and coordinate with the site administration in order to ensure the proper management.Investigate and keep all record of all incident/accident, initiate a root cause analysis and coordinate with the Safety & Security Supervisor to take appropriate corrective actions.Underline any serious safety violation and stop the job whatever unsafe acts or condition are deemed to cause potential accidents.Make sure site offices, first aid and welfare facilities are in good condition and free of any safety hazards.Provide guidance and assistance to the personnel on applicable safety instruction and sure to communicate and updates regarding Environmental, Health and Safety program.Prepare and maintain Environmental, Health and Safety documents (logs, records)• Identify and measure potential safety hazards in the workplace.• • • Design and install safety devices.• Conduct safety programs.• Develop hazard control methods. Anticipate, evaluate and react to hazardous conditions.• Develop procedures and designs to reduce the risk of illness, injury, or damage. Recommend appropriate loss prevention methods.• Determine dangers of handling certain toxic chemicals.•

المهارات

Min. 2 year experience in similar field. General awareness & understanding of Environmental Management System. Understanding of aspects & its impacts on the environment due to activities performed by the company. Understanding of legal requirements from regulatory authorities & environmental standards. Awareness of waste types, hazardous, toxic, reactive waste, etc. & disposal procedures. Understanding of Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Understanding of Emergency Preparedness & the role during any emergency
