Job Description and Qualifications
THE PROJECT
NEOM GREEN HYDROGEN COMPANY:
ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM jointly agreed to develop a world-scale green hydrogen production facility powered by renewable electricity in the Neom Area of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to produce green hydrogen fuels, including green ammonia as a hydrogen carrier, for export to international markets. NEOM is an ideal location for this project because of its unique combination and availability of wind and solar power integrating up to 4 GWs of renewable energy sources (solar, wind and battery storage) with electrolyzer and green ammonia synthesis. The project commercial operation date / 2026.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Interface Engineer is managing the interfaces between the Owner Project team and third parties. Building and managing effective relationships across multiple interfaces.
NATURE AND SCOPE

Description: NEOM Green Hydrogen Project consists of 3 elements: Power Elements (PE), Green Hydrogen (GHE), and Hydrogen Innovation & Development Centre (HIDC).
Project Location: Northwest of Saudi Arabia, approx. 120km from Tabuk city

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following:

Supporting the interface Manager in preparing communications and instructions to designated contractors
To identifying all the interfaces together with the stakeholders and other contractors
To Monitor the updating of the Interface Register associated with each interface
To maintain an index of all interfaces documents versions on the project to be used as the reporting tool for interface issues including the status of each interface
To contribute in the interface review meetings with the stakeholders and other contractors
Monitoring the objectives and contractor progress and performance against the contract milestones
To control and monitor the interface resolution of each interface
To undertake interface progress assessment to identify delay and initiate remedial action if necessary
To report to the interface manager all the critical areas and potential conflicts
To consult regularly with The Project Execution Team and inform them about the actual status.
To attend progress meetings
Initiating meetings to address particular issues, affecting the programme with respect to specific interfaces as required.
To coordinate and integrate external technical interfaces with external stakeholders who are engaged in the development and delivery of designs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Fluent in English and Arabic
7-12 Years Project Management experience in petrochemical / refinery projects.
Communication – excellent written English and verbal communication skills, report writing, copywriting and presentation skills.
High level in report writing
Willingness to travel and be based in remote location
Previous experience in Client role
Saudi national is preferred
