Job Objectives :

Responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance at all PSI facilities. This will include assessment and implementation of all HSE programs ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental norms and local regulations. Ensure that health and safety responsibilities are known to all employees.

Job Description :

Provides HSE leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the organization and across all functional groups.
Development and administration of the Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Design and prepare all HSE training program according to required regulations and prepare schedule of all training programs and ensure all employees receive appropriate training and participate in various committee meetings for the site.
Communicate safety rules and standards to all employees and ensure its enforcement.
Manage communication strategies and design health bulletins, posters, and publicity materials as needed to convey safety awareness.
Participate in all site safety committees and analyze all job hazard activities and ensure compliance to all OSHA guidelines and perform audit on all activities.
Administer and maintain safety regulations in compliance with all local departments and inspect all fire protection equipment to ensure proper working and document the same
Advise departments and employees of unsafe working conditions and measures related to accident prevention.
Provide recommendations on safe work environments and health standards for each job, operation, and facility.
Conduct regular safety inspections to discover and correct unsafe working conditions and practices.
Ensure that proper data / accident record log is maintained and kept for future references.
Monitor the supervisor’s performance in the investigation of accidents and documentation. Ensure corrective action necessary to prevent recurrence are in place.
Environmental / Waste Management: Coordinate the waste management processes
with the source units for compliance legislations. Investigate and implement recycling / disposal possibilities for better utilization of industrial wastes.
