Minimum Qualifications
Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certification in Business administration, Accounting, or in the related functional area is desirable.
Experience: 4 years or more relevant experience general administrative work , preferably in an international organization, embassy, or UN system.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Somali is a requirement.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good experience and ability on Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with deadline.
- Ability to use tact and courtesy to give and receive information to a wider range of individuals and methods to complete processes under minimal supervision.
- Ability to identify data discrepancies and rectify problems requiring attention.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of a range of services, including facilities, and light vehicle management, travel, protocol related etc
- Assist in proper maintenance of vendor accounts and timely clearance of outstanding advances and other receivables.
- Provide guidance on routine business support methods and practices.
- Assist in reviewing and performing reconciliations for Baidoa admin and finance transactions.
- Assist in SCOPE cards management.
- Assist in timely and accurate preparation of monthly admin and financial reporting.
- Maintain efficient database management.
- Assist in performing all routine administrative activities in line with WFP’s operating standards through day-to-day work
- Perform other related duties as required
