Senior Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
2. Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
3. Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
4. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
5. Monitor and report the stock aging in order to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock.
6. Prepare the bank's reconciliation and follow up to solve the outstanding transactions.
7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

1. Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
2. Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
3. Database management skills.
4. Ability to analyze and solve problems.
5. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or similar preferred.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the retail sector.
3. Excellent knowledge of inventory management software such as Microsoft Dynamic AX.
4. Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
5. Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
8. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
