As Engineer- IMS & NGN Services you will assist in planning and implementation of NGN and IMS based Services and co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to realize the services in the Fixed/IGW core Network. The person is also responsible to test the services and maintain the proper documentation.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible of the following:

Assist for planning and implementation of NGN and IMS based services for corporate and residential customers

Participate in Testing the services based on NGN and IMS platforms

Testing of supplementary services based on marketing requirement

Participate in Provisional Acceptance Tests of new IMS based Servers

Participate in testing new services like Audio, Video and Web Conference, IP- Centrex, U-Portal and RCS based on IMS applications servers

Prepare resource allocation for corporate customers at Soft switch, MGW and SBC

Sharing the resource planning document with Transmission and IP MPLS team to provision the related resources at their end

Communicate charging related resource information to IT mediation for the billing purpose of corporate customers

Following up of the tasks with internal stakeholders related to corporate customers provisioning and implementation through BMC remedy

Follow-up with NOC for work Order implementation

Co-ordinate with IT, marketing and other internal stakeholders to test and implement the new services based on NGN

Coordinate with revenue assurance team to discuss the impact of services on their area

Communicate with vendors on progress, activities and tasks regarding implementation of

Document various test scenarios of the services

Document services test results along with signaling traces

Document network resources related to IMS and NGN based services

Preparation of regular reports related to customers and services

Create work orders for daily operations

Work order creation to implement the supplementary services as per business team requirements

Issue work order to NOC to provision resources in various NGN based nodes like Soft Switch, MGW, SBC and IMS based application servers

Create and Issue work order to NOC for the provisioning of TDM/IP based corporate customers

The Person
Bachelors Degree in IT, Telecoms Engineering or any related field
At least 2 years of background in Fixed and International gateway business on similar position
Strong knowledge of Telecommunication standards and protocols for Voice Core Network
