Regional Account Manager – Tobacco

Job Description

  • Manage the existing portfolio of accounts
  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients
  • Serve as a point of contact to clients and work on their needs and requirements
  • Generate new business leveraging potential customer networks
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Establish and maintain executive level relationships to create a qualified pipeline and drive revenue
  • Build and grow your assigned accounts as much as possible by achieving renewals and identifying up/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively across the wider sales organisation to close business in a timely manner and achieve sales targets.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven work experience in a Sales account manager role in a manufacturing company
  • Preferably has contacts in the tobacco industry
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
