Job Description
- Manage the existing portfolio of accounts
- Develop meaningful relationships with clients
- Serve as a point of contact to clients and work on their needs and requirements
- Generate new business leveraging potential customer networks
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Establish and maintain executive level relationships to create a qualified pipeline and drive revenue
- Build and grow your assigned accounts as much as possible by achieving renewals and identifying up/cross-sell opportunities.
- Work collaboratively across the wider sales organisation to close business in a timely manner and achieve sales targets.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven work experience in a Sales account manager role in a manufacturing company
- Preferably has contacts in the tobacco industry
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
