BACKGROUND
Rowad AlKhair Association humanitarian CBO is one of the community-based organizations in Russifah district; working to provide humanitarian, Development, and relief for vulnerable families and deals with protection issues related to children and women.
Child protection is the prevention of and response to abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence against children. Rowad will be implementing Child Protection prevention and response to violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation among children in Hard to reach communities in partnership with UNICEF by using Child protection case management as process of helping individual children and families through direct social-work-type support, and managing information well. Within child protection case management, there should be appropriate involvement of children throughout the process, as well as full consideration of the best interests of the child.

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The M&E officer will be responsible for providing assistance on information management and monitoring evaluation in the project. The M&E officer will also ensure timely and quality implementation of the development and implementation of M&E systems and data collection tools focused on analysis and reporting to ensure quality reporting to the M&E specialist. Contribute in development of a systematic and realistic monitoring plan and project activities and reports during the implementation and evaluate the project on a regular basis and by the end of the project as well. Moreover, s/he will be responsible for quantitative and qualitative data analysis using different software in order to provide quality impact and evaluation reports.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direct supervision of Rowad M&E specialist, the M&E Officer will be responsible of the following:
- Conducted field visits where the activates of the project implemented.
- Responsible to support quality, development and completion of all assessments, analytical reports and evaluation (including Impact evaluation)
- Oversee and manage data collection processes, ensuring data is gathered in a timely and appropriate manner and to an acceptable quality.
- Provide regular and timely updates on progress and challenges to supervisors and other team members. Ensure lessons learnt and best practices are discoursed and documented.
- Update and present monthly progress VS achievement of the project
- Review, compile and submit monthly reports and assure data quality against the standards.
- Lead in the collection of positive impact stories and photos from protection project and prepare them to be used for shared learning as well as UNICEF reporting, and other external stakeholders.
- Conduct internal spot-check, audits visits and satisfaction surveys
- Revise the content of stories and photos for both projects to be posted at the workplace.
- Contribute to ( Base line and med line , and end line assessments , Gender studies , relevant research )
Accountability:
- Ensure maintaining high confidentiality of information, up to date documents, including processes and verification.
- Experience in working with children
Working Relationships:
- Proactively engage with your supervisor and key staff.
Representation:
- Represent Rowad in a positive and professional manner to contribute to the creation of a positive image and overall credibility of the organization, notably through the application of Rowad mandate, ethics, values and stand-point with regard to other actors.

- Ensure the application of, and compliance with, security protocols and policies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor degree in development studies, economics, statistics, social sciences, or other relevant field.
Professional and personal requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in M&E
- Knowledge of program development, project cycle management and project documentation.
- Experience in development of M&E systems and tools for
- Experience with data management and the ability to structure/collate data sets for ease of analysis.
- Excellent qualitative/quantitative analytical skills and experience, with demonstrable abilities in Excel, Access, and/or statistical software.
- Actively promote communication, learning and accountability, while demonstrating a commitment to capacity-building.
- Previous experience in managing teams is a plus.
