We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controls Analyst to join Honeywell's Building Technologies team based in Riyadh, KSA. The purpose of this role is to support all Project Controls requirements for HBS (Honeywell Building Solutions) projects by participating in all stages of the project.
Project Controls Analyst responsibilities:
.Maintains project cost and schedule tools used by HBS to accurately measure, forecast and track project-related work, and associated timely delivery of these products, including resource planning.
.Ensures the accuracy of earned value data on allocated projects.
.Works closely with project management, contract management, engineering and construction personnel to define detailed measurement and scheduling criteria.
.Assists, and sometimes takes lead, in producing and maintaining project schedules and associated deliverables tracking and project S curves.
.Participates in project planning processes, defining scopes, establishing WBS & budgets on allocated projects.
.Ensures that project control procedure compliance & standards are allocated to projects.
.Works with Project Managers to produce accurate cost estimates for change orders and maintains the change log/variance log in PV (Project Vision).
.Works with Business Management (Program Managers, Directors, and Finance management) to report both project and program forecasts.
.Contributes and oversees coordination of monthly project status reports to customers.
.Performs project cost risk analysis for developing project contingency budgets and maintains run down curves for continued project cost risk assessment.
.Manages the receivables & payables balance on allocated projects.
.Leads and insures accurate and timely project invoicing to associated customers.
.Participates in project risk reviews.
.Work is usually office based but depending on individual project requirements the position may require occasional travel to and / or work in client facilities or remote construction locations.
Qualifications and Experience
.Bachelors Degree in engineering or project management preferred.
.Hands on experience with enterprise wide cost accounting system, SAP preferred.
.Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic knowledge of VBA is a plus.
.Knowledge of cost estimating, tracking and control.
.Knowledge of business concepts and processes, including contracts, finance, and cash flow.
.Basic knowledge of Scheduling (MS Project and/or Primavera).
.Basic negotiation & conflict management skills.
.Proactive and resourceful self-starter, with ability to multi-task.
.Experience with multi-disciplined projects (engineering, software development, construction, and procurement) and leading a project controls team.
.The ability to interpret relationships between cost, schedule and resource requirements and how they relate to stated business objectives.
.Experience in presenting project cost and schedule data to both project teams and upper management.
.Experience with schedule and commercial reporting on technical scope execution.
.Certification from PMI is a plus.
