Job Description
As a DJ, you will be responsible forconnecting with listeners, arranging playlists,taking music requests, and generating interest.A DJ plays musical recordings,in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
What will I be doing
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guestsby expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
- Maintain cleanliness of work area in accordance with local and company standards
- The ability to select the right tracks that would please the crowds and the ability to mix songs
- Playing two tracks without breaks into one another to provide smooth transitioning music
- Choose music to suit your audience and the venue's music policy
- Create your own sounds by manipulating beats, using samples, adding extra music and sound effects
- Operating accross many genres
- Familiarity with classic and recent music outputs
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Well-honed research, improvisation, and time management abilities
