Overview of the role

  • This position operates within the context of confidentiality, diplomacy and judgement. Guiding principles will be found in the published policies and procedures as well as past precedent. However, the ability to operate within indistinct parameters is also important.
  • Understanding of BMS, Lighting control systems and smart homes solution specific processes and experience understanding clients’ needs, engineering business processes and articulating solutions.

What you will do

  • Attend Client Meetings for company portfolio and product Presentation.
  • Build relationships with a broad variety of customers to be their preferred BMS and lighting control solution provider.
  • Focus to grow business opportunities from some of larger verticals to include hospitality, retail space, high-rise buildings, government, education, medical facilities and real estate.
  • Responsible for preparing quotes and executing the overall strategic plan for development business of BMS lighting controls and smart building and smart home solutions.
  • Strong liaison and negotiation skills with client, vendors and partner.
  • Able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment, willing to work extended hours.

Financial

  • Ensure achieving division targeted bookings and gross margins, monthly, quarterly and annually

Market:

  • Alignment with business partners.
  • Attending key partners and customers events.
  • Sharing company achievements with customers

Business Excellence

  • Attract and retain new customers.
  • Geographical expansion.
  • Increase profitability with the right pricing strategy in place, this includes closing the right number of deals and defining key accounts.

Role Based

  • Strive for improvement.
  • Cross-selling AFET solutions and upskilling knowledge.
  • Sales planning and opportunity scoping.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Graduate Engineer in Electronics / Electrical or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales of BMS, smart homes and lighting control systems.
