Detailed role description
Scope of Work:
- Reaching the local CBOs to conduct YEP& PSS activities.
- Ability to provide the beneficiaries YEP& PSS (Youth empowerment program & Psychosocial support) activities sessions in Karak center & remotely.
- Respect and commitment for child safeguarding and IMC policy
- Work closely with the Field Program Officer to ensure effective providing youth empowerment program and psychosocial support within internal SOPs of volunteers and YEP manual.
- Provide psychosocial support and youth empowerment program in Karak and ensure providing the activities by suitable schedule.
- Commitment by PSEA guidance ( Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standard within IMC and amongst beneficiaries served by IMC.
- Conduct outreach activity in order to implement YEP& PSS activities.
- Provide the Field program officer the documents of the sessions and beneficiaries, Attendance sheet, registration, consent, work plans and forms.
- Ability to apply community projects with YEP beneficiaries for the local community.
- Enable to apply any further duties from the direct supervisor.
Skills required for this position
- BA degree or diploma in a relevant discipline
- 0-3 years of experience in work in international organizations and humanitarian settings, prefer Education, Psychology, Counselling, Occupational therapy, Physical therapy, Languages, Special Education, Nutrition, Class teacher or any related field.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Skills in dealing with children and adolescent.
- Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.

Karak CP center.
